1. Today begins day six of my 30 days without McD's. I have found that when I tell someone, "I've gone six days without McDonald's!" they look at me like I'm really weird. One friend asked, "What do you get when you go there?" Honestly, it's their breakfast food that is my weakness, so I'd like to equate it with someone who goes to Starbucks every morning. And part of it probably has to do with just the habit of getting out of the house and going for a drive.
So after six days, without tracking anything else, I've lost 1.5 pounds. I've decided to try to take this and run with it, sort of literally. I'd like to start (restart) tracking my eating with MyFitnessPal and also start walking, maybe working up to running again.
2. Oh, how I love my St. Louis Cardinals! Leah and I had the opportunity to go to a NLDS game last Monday, and as amazing an exciting as it was, it made me realize how amazing and exciting a World Series game must be (NLDS game x 100 I'm guessing)!

3. Leah turned six months on Friday. She is such a sweet, happy, easy going baby. Such a joy. We did family pictures on Saturday, I sort of planned it to go with her turning six months. The kids really did a great job, but I think most of that had to do with the awesome photographer! I'm really looking forward to seeing them.
I took this yesterday...it makes me laugh! Babies are so excited to see their toes. :) |
Enjoying October. Hope you are, too.

Oh Chrissy!!! I am so proud of you on your 6 days of no MCDS!! And if you start running again let me know! I have a great idea, we can meet and do a half marathon somewhere like Disney Princess Half Marathon? Come on it would be great and the kids would have a blast!!!
Never too young to be a baseball fan! Hurrah for 6 months.
