A Dad and His Daughter

Brace yourself.

I'm having an emotional moment.

It could be because I'm
female.

Or because I'm a
mom.

Or because I'm
pregnant.

But most likely it's all three of those.

Last night Josh took Sarah to a Daddy/Daughter dance.

Before they left, they looked like this:

And Sarah's hair was all pretty like this:

And at the dance, they looked like this:

But the day we brought her home, they looked like this:

And I may be crying a bit putting this post together.

Of course, it didn't help that one of my friends posted this song on facebook today:

Mark Harris - When We're Together (From The Movie COURAGEOUS) from providentlabelgroup on GodTube.com.

Bawled. My. Eyes. Out.
If you haven't seen the movie Courageous, you would think I'm crazy for bawling...so go watch it and then you can bawl with me.

Deep breath, Chrissy.

There's just something about a dad and his daughter.

Makes a momma teary-eyed.

And sometimes, it makes a daddy teary-eyed, too.

Tell Sarah she is beautiful and I love her hair!
You have to hang the picture in the girl room- it is precious.
I love it.

Great pic for a Father's Day gift! One of him with each child at birth...and a current one :)

Hmm...I may just do that ;)

It was nice to meet you in person yesterday! I've visited your blog a few times from Ashley's and Bethany's! :) Courageous made me cry too, and I'm not usually a movie cryer...but I love that there were an equal number of laughs too! I am so thankful for my dad, and I sometimes get teary-eyed when I see my big brothers and the awesome dads they've become. I'm praying God will bless me with a husband/dad to our children one day too!
