I don't know...

I don't know how to help or encourage someone who doesn't think God is big enough to fix their hurting heart. I don't know what to say to make them feel His love or know He is bigger than their issues that they struggle with. I'm not sure how to keep my tone in line with what they need to hear instead of getting upset when they act like my Savior is just a footnote in life.

Psalm 121

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

This is so tough! I will pray for God's love to overflow through you to this person. Of course I don't know what they are suffering with, but I will email you some verses that helped me remember that my God was bigger than me and had GREAT plans for me during my parent's divorce and the death of my daughter.
